Wonderful

We needed a place to stay for a short stop that was closer to the airport. This hotel is about 45 minutes from the hotel and was right off of the highway.

Bob was the pm manager. He was rude, condescending and lacked customer service. I booked 2 rooms theough hotels.com and he could only find one. He complained about 3rd party companies and refused to acknowledge my confirmation number. He said it wasn’t the same. He gave me the one room at the quoted rate but said the other would be a walk in rate. The hotel charges $100 security deposit which was outrageous. It was however refunded at checkout. He later found the 2nd room and cancelled the later charge but was not happy or apologetic about it.

No elevator. Breakfast consists of bagels, yogurts, cereal and waffle mix. Every morning around 6 am we would hear construction being done either outside or in the hotel (extra loud in the bathroom). AC kept turning off in our room in the middle of the night. Only good thing was that we were close to a lot of restaurants and Bob at the front desk was pretty friendly and helpful.

The room was fine except that the smoke detector and sprinkler system was covered with plastic and zip ties! So if there was a fire I guess you would just have to burn.

Kids were running around the hallway at night, no one made them stop. Breakfast sucked. The waffle was good but I asked where the bacon, biscuits and sausage were. The man at the front desk told me to go to the Waffle House around the corner. The fruit didn't look good either, bananas were rotten. Guess since you're only at three star hotel, you can't afford to give a breakfast to your guests 😢

Restaurant next door was great.

From the moment we got to our room to when we left, we kept having issues. Once we opened the door to our room, it was a blast in the face with clorine smell. We spoke with the front of house attendant, he gave us the option to move rooms or he could find some febreeze for us. We were fine with staying in the room, just needed somthing to clear up the smell. We were never notified when he found the febreeze, if he found it. He siad he'd contact us once found after contacting a manger, but never heard about it for the rest if the weekend. Second thing, is our cooler took WAY to long to cool down the room. So most of the time we were dying of heat. The windows would be shut and have the cooler on max cool at high and it took hours and hours. Third, our tv didnt work. The gentleman came to try figure it out, but couldnt get it to connect either, so that was a bummer. Fourth, we had no normal soap and our sink was constantly clogged. All in all, it was a terrible expirence, and were not pleased with anything.

The staff was very accomadating
