The location was adjacent to a busy road.

Condo was as described. Clean. Well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Recent construction.

Some other units in the building have hot tubs on the balcony. This unit unfortunately does not. It does have a table, chairs, and BBQ. Our last night was ruined by failing AA backup batteries in a wired smoke alarm system that emitted a loud warning every minute in the middle of the night. No big deal, just replace the batteries or remove them entirely , right?? Wrong! This system cannot be disabled by removing the dying batteries, because they only serve as backup, and the alarms are all hardwired. Removing them did not stop the alarm from sounding. We were given no warning this could happen. No spare batteries were to be found anywhere in the unit. It was the middle of the night. I reached out to the property management company around 5:30am after trying unsuccessfully to solve the issue myself, messaging in both the booking.com app AND their wonky proprietary app AND I called the only phone number they provided - no answer. I received only tardy self-serving messages of apology, no ownership of the issue. Though they acknowledged their expected level of service (that I paid a lot for) was not met, they refused to make it right or fix it. They sent no one over with batteries (the alarm continued to sound right up until we checked out at 10am) and they offered no compensation for the aggravation they caused us. No one in our group was able to sleep from 4am onwards. It ruined our last night and day. The place itself has potential, but obviously, I cannot recommend a unit run by an irresponsible local company that focuses not on the sucker who paid them already, but on the one who hasn't yet. Also, be warned that after you book and pay the full price via booking.com, which offered the best price for this unit (I checked), this bunch forces you to engage with their own app (which isn't user-friendly) and you must provide your credit card to them before they give you an entry code.

The condo was spacious and well set up - including with board games for wet weather days! Great accommodation for families.

There are not a lot of options for dining close by, but not an issue if you have a hire car!
