The Museum View Suite

It was reasonably priced for the time of year and the only reason we stayed there.

We stayed at this property 2 seperate times due to being located close to the port. However after our first stay we reported some issues that we were told would be rectified before we returned 1 week later. When we returned for the second stay none of the issues were rectified, we also found that one of the toilets was not working and the sheets were dirty. We were travelling with a 1year old and this place is not child friendly with several flights of stairs in the apartment.

Nothing special accommodation close to Archeology museum and easy walk to city centre. Photos are “generous” in setting. 1 double bed, 1 single, 1 sofa bed and 1 sofa. Shower was good.

Plenty of space, very clean, beds ok, very spacious , lovely outdoor terrace upstairs and down, decor changed from photos but still nice. Great to have good washing machine and outdoor hanging wracks. At first neighborhood seemed a bit questionable but once we explored the area, it was just on the edge of lots of restaurants and shopping, close to the port and historical area. Our saving grace was the cute little cafe around the corner that served great coffee!

Considering the location, felt it was a bit expensive for 2 people, but great value if there are 3 people ( place has 3 bedrooms). Was a shame they missed little details that make a difference like hand soap , wine glasses and a cork opener! We had to buy one and donated it. We wished we would have only stayed 2 days rather than 4. Heraklion really was not the best place to base ourselves from but we made it work. Gives us a reason to come back but next time we are stay g in the west !

Check in was easy, the apartment was a great space for our family for a short stopover. There weren’t very many amenities in the apartment aside from dishwashing supplies, so it is sparse in that sense. The location has was okay and parking and driving in Heraklion Centre was difficult to find and squeeze through narrow streets. There is no dedicated parking area for this property, so do some research in advance if you can.

The location was great! The apartment was lovely and very clean. We were only there for 1 night, very short stay. Would definitely consider booking it again.

There was an issue with the hot water.

Bathrooms were dirty, probably from cleaning person not finishing. Cleaning equipment left out on balcony.
