Gara Gara Sea View

It was perfect.

It’s a small place with only 5 villas so it’s really peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, The staff are so friendly, one of us was Ill on one of the days and they brought us coconuts and fruit, the villas are amazing, with mosquito nets over the bed, and everything in the minibar is free!! which I’ve never seen before from a hotel, the food is amazing, because we weren’t very well unfortunately we decided to eat at the hotel both nights and stick to western style food which was very good, and finally the view and the sunsets you get are amazing

The hotel is beautifully designed and feels very luxurious. The pool area and restaurant have spectacular views due to being high up on the hill. The staff were friendly and helpful and organised lots of things for us. Breakfast was delicious. There's a lovely local restaurant nearby.

The hill is very steep and so going for a walk to explore the area isn't really possible.

Gara Gara Seaview is a perfect location for your stay in Nusa Penida. The view from the infinity pool is amazing. The staff, the owner in incognito (😊) and the hotel manager will do their best- even beyond to make your visit worthwhile. You can take all kinds of tours- the driver is great- and you will see you need that.... We did not dare to drive the scooter... As the locals say: broken beach, broken roads but no broken hearts. The breakfast is also really good. We hope to come back! Thank you for everything!

Great elevated location with great views of the ocean and of Gunung Agung which, even when veiled in cloud, revealed enough of its summit to appear a majestic and awesome presence. This scene could be enjoyed luxuriously from the infinity pool. The bungalows were lovely with an arty decor showcasing local crafts. Facilities within were all good. All the staff were genuinely friendly - always an important thing! Breakfast options were of adequate variety and simply delicious. Didn't try lunch or evening meals but I'm sure would have been every bit as good. A variety of food options also back down on the main road. Would recommend Warung Lonto a bit further along heading east. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at Gara Gara again if back in Nusa Penida.

Absolutely amazing! The views are spectacular and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Food was delicious and really well priced. The West Island tour was really good and definitely recommend doing. We had a fantastic time here and will definitely stay again! Best views I’ve ever seen!
