Stylish 2bed apartment underneath Edinburgh castle

Great location in the city centre. The check-in was super easy, as we only had to follow the instructions sent to us via email. There are two separate bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room/kitchen is spacious and inviting.

There are no mirrors in the bathrooms, but there are in the bedrooms. It’s a minor issue to criticise, but it simply would be much handier to have one in the bathroom as well.

Very nice Apartment. Close to everything. Well equiped and arranged.

Excellent location - easy walk to the castle and other sites in Edinburgh. Close enough for our daughters to go to a club for Hogmanay and I didn’t have to worry. Plenty of space for our family of 5.

The location was good close to the castle.

The noise from the street is very loud, we woke up around 3:30 am both days we stayed. One of the ‘ double beds ‘ is more of a big single and was really hard to share.

No mirrors in the bathrooms, the heating was randomly deactivated and completely shut off in one room, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The small double bed is too small for 2 people.

Cold, single paned windows dripping with condensation. No control over heating, not enough bedding and not enough beds. Booked for 2 adults an 11, 12 and 14 year old. 2 small double beds and a shitty old campbed with no sheets or bedding provided for it..one of us had to use the couch and sleep in clothes and use our coats as blankets. I contacted the agent from the apartment twice by the mobile number provided and again since leaving the accomodation...no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. Just an automated email offering a discount on our next stay just after we checked out. Not near good enough for the bloody price we paid!
