Stylish 2bed apartment underneath Edinburgh castle

Location is good. No Breakfast, though all utensil were available to cook your Breakfast.

Property lights were not working, Toilet flush was not working. No spare quilt and bed sheet. The store room was full of dirty linen. Door lock was broken and entry to the property is horrific. Even after making several complaints to the team, no action until we left the property. Poor Property for family to live.

The location is wonderful. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms is perfect for family travel. The living/kitchen/dining room is well furnished and decorated, quite sunny and spacious. The decor of the whole apartment is really nice. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. You get some street noise, but we had no issues sleeping (it's a city-central apartment, so you should expect some noise). The TV works great and has plenty of channel options. The laundry is very convenient and fairly intuitive (the laundry rack may be stored in or by a bedroom cabinet instead of in the laundry closet with all other laundry supplies). I would stay here again or in another apartment by this company because I liked how they responded to me. Any issues we had could be easily resolved for us or other guests, and we still enjoyed our stay.

Based on their video, I think they used to provide basic tea and coffee supplies. But notes about theft in the apartment tell me they've stopped providing supplies. I would suggest they compromise and leave enough for two days, just enough to get guests started rather than completely stop those supplies. They're pretty standard for villa/apartment rentals. The WiFi does not work. They responded to my message, but it just doesn't work. Other reviews have said the same. They should replace the router. The windows need a good cleaning. There is not just rain residue but a layer of mud and pollution, particularly on the living room and kitchen windows. The interior was, however, very clean. They share a video about how to use everything in the apartment. Unfortunately, because of the WiFi issues, I couldn't load it properly. It would be nice to have a physical apartment guide as well to give those instructions if the video won't work.

Wifi was essentially worthless (even after restarting the router). Could use more instruction on using the Nest to control the heating. Would be nice to have a coffee press. Would be nice if there was some advice on parking for those traveling with a car, or on the listing, suggest that the location is not agreeable for those traveling by car. This property is run by a management company, not an individual, and getting replies to questions took a long time, or in some cases, did not happen at all.

Wifi isn't working, not enough towels.

The location of the property was great. Gaining access was made easy through good communication. Kitchen/living room was a good size.

The apartment was tired for example, the paint work needed a freshen up, the main bathroom shower doors need repairing, the bed in the second room was very small for an average size couple. The kitchen was very bare in terms of condiments, coffee, tea, sugar, milk etc. we only stayed the one night and arrived late. We would have loved to have been able to make a warm drink! The spare childrens sock on the fold out bed wasn’t ideal for cleanliness.

This two bedroom apartment was not conveniently located by the train station. We were unable to put the heat on. We contacted the offices and asked if they would come out and put it on for us. They replied we had to watch a video they had send with our information email. Unfortunately the internet they provided was not adequate enough to run the video. We had to endure two nights of chilly conditions. We were very dissatisfied with their lack of service and would not recommend this place.

Not able to get in as wrong key code provided. The entrance to the flat look dodgey and was not inviting at all. The beds were small and toilet didn’t always flush. Generally not great
