Stylish 2bed apartment underneath Edinburgh castle

Great size apartment in fabulous location. Easily walkable to all tourist sites and shops

Once we got the code for the lock box we had no issues at all. The location felt very safe and secure.

We did not get sent the code for the lockbox before arrival. We had to call several times and email before we were able to get in contact and get the code.

Has everything you need. Comfortable.

Bulbs gone in 2 main lights in living room. Informed host but did not come to fix. No mirrors in bathroom. Biggest worry was the fact that you only get 1 set of keys and cannot lock the door from inside without keys. So if your group splits up and some come home early and you leave the key out, then you are in the apartment and cannot lock the door so someone from the other 2 apartments on the same floor can easily walk in.

The location. The service was excellent (Gemma). It was comfortable and very clean. The intro videos were excellent. Loved that there was a gift. Close parking via the just parking app.

A little bit noisy.

Fantastic location, professionally cleaned, spacious, well furnished and homely.

The heating and hot water did not work for the entire trip, although the staff seemed accommodating in trying to fix the problem.

Was advised it was free parking Saturday & Sunday so paid for the street parking on the Friday and then when leaving the flat late morning find a parking ticket on my windshield. Then had to drive about to find parking

Booked for 5 people. Only bedding for 4 people. No response to calls etc

I liked the space and location of the property.

I didn’t like the key access. It did not feel secure and a hazard if there is a fire if locked inside apartment without being able to unlock from the inside. Additionally, it was chilly in the apartment so a bit more blankets or linens would help.

Cleanliness, location was perfect. 2 lovely bathrooms with great showers. Sofa bed a huge bonus. Well appointed kitchen. Excellent value for money.

Minor issues that would not stop us staying again. No mirrors in bathrooms. No dessert spoons. Duvets a little small for two people.
