Stylish 2bed apartment underneath Edinburgh castle

Spacious and modern

Little tired in places, could do with a refresh in places

Beautiful apartment, close to city centre.

Very noisy. Entranceway was a bit grim. Would have like some milk for teamaking.

Property was great, very stylish and modern, great location which was near to everything especially grassmarket and facilities were good too!

There were a few damp ceilings/walls on arrival (or marks from), this didn’t affect our stay at all.

Excellent location!!! It was only a short walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is a bit of noise pollution as the building and windows are quite old. The staff was helpful when we reached out to them. Would definitely stay here again.

The road noise from the bus stop and road right below the bedrooms did make it a little difficult to sleep.

Very central to the city and good value.

The bed in the second bedroom was a rather small double!

Flat reallly well equiped, modern, tastefully decorated. Tea, coffee, hand soaps etc all provided.

Looks nothing from street, but fab inside.

Location was good. Fair amount of space.

Entrance hall is dark and dingy. Water mark on ceiling of living room. Made living room look worse than it actually was.

The location is great, the kitchen and lounge were clearly nicely done (a few years back).

DO NOT STAY HERE. The property has great potential and someone clearly cared about it 5 years ago but since then they’ve completely forgotten what it is to provide a good service. The door handles were hanging off, the shower was mouldy, the bedside drawer had old finger nails inside it, the pillows were dirty. The facilities were falsely advertised - there was no hairdryer or iron as suggested. We asked where these items were throughout the stay but got no response. This was despite advertising a 24hr reception.

Close to the old city center, and to the castle, well equipt kitchen and two bathrooms.
