Alva Hotel

Great customer service without a front desk!!! Was able to check in early and the family loved the stay. First time doing a contactless check-in. Parking before the building is free. There’s free street parking too opposite the hotel. Netto grocery store is close by. Cleaning crew were very polite and friendly.

The hotel was great, with a nice, clean and well appointed room. Beds were very comfortable. Easy check in and out and free parking.

Alva Hotel was the perfect place to stay for the night before an early flight. It was affordable, modern, quiet and parking was free. Not having front desk staff was unique but the phone staff was very helpful.

The Alva was a very nice hotel. It was relatively easy to get everywhere we needed. It was also very easy to park around there.

This place was so clean, the beds so comfy, and the space so well utilized. And I say this as a claustrophobic germaphobe with a bad back. The only on-site staff was the cleaning staff, but the off-site staff was sending us regular messages in case we needed anything. Getting in and out is very secure and easy, and the location is a short drive to downtown Reykjavik. A great first stop to welcome us to Iceland.

The Alva was quiet and vey clean. It was about a 30 minute walk to get to the centre, but it was doable. We did some exploring in the area and found some great restaurants.

Family of 4 with 2 teens. Spacious, clean rooms. Spacious hallways. Easy street parking always available in front of the hotel. Staff are friendly and available. No issue with Code that was emailed to me. Only hassle is the small elevator that can fit 3 people with 3 luggages. Would definitely come back here for short stays.

While the facility was good, the surround area did not appear to be quiet or safe
