Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp

The tent, the staffs: Hamid & his team, the food, the 4x4 ride & sahara experience, overall we had an amazing day. Thanks to Hamid, who made our stay so memorable.

The weather. Sahara is unpredictable. Windy and dusty when we arrived, so we have to stay inside the room, and had dinner inside the dining tent.

I stayed here for one night with my wife. Everything was super good because of this hotel!!! The boy who took us on the camel ride was called Omar, he was very nice and told us a lot about the Sahara and took beautiful and interesting photos for us, we were very happy with him! The first thing we noticed when we arrived at the camp was: "It's so clean here!". I didn't realize that this place is much cleaner than some riads and hotels. The decoration is also very nice. What I didn't expect was the food. The dinner was very sumptuous, we both had a soup, a tajine and a vegetable grill. we were very full. It was very filling hahahaha. The breakfast was also very good, I felt like I was in a hotel. Many thanks to the man at the camp, he dropped us off at the parking lot the next day. All in all, we were very happy and the place was also very safe! I really recommend this camp! I have very fond memories of this night in the Sahara.

we saw a lot of camps while driving through the desert and we were glad we booked this one as it is one of the nicest! the location is amazing as it is inside the desert and not next to the road and hotels right outside. The food was delicious and they catered always different vegetarian meals for dinner so it never got repetitive. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tents are beautiful, clean and spacious. We stayed in winter so in the evening at night it got very cold but the blankets were very warm and comfy.

the wifi is not great, but if you don’t unplug in the desert.. where else would you? :)

Location was OK - a little too close to the other camps than what we understood. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the sunset camel ride and the helpful camel leader taking photos of us on the camels.

Not as clean as it should have been - dirty carpet, no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom space. Bed mattress very hard and sheets uncomfortable/scratchy. With only one other guest there the atmosphere was flat, despite the attempt of two staff to entertain us with drumming by a small fire.

Incredible experience! We arrived at the camp by camels, riding the dunes. The staff is incredibly nice, the meals are very tasty, the location is amazing and the tents are cozy. Definitely recommend!

The location is amazing, at night when the lights are out, you can see all the stars. The food was really good, the tent very spacious with a nice bathroom and a table outside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. When my stomach was upset, the owner brought me lemons for my water and mint tea. They organized a car tour through the desert for us which was magical. Especially Oday and Omar went out of their way to accommodate us, they were so nice and helpful we really want to thank them for everything!
