Merzouga Desert Luxury Camp

beautiful location , quiet, food was nice, staff were really lovely and attentive

they charged us for 3 nights even though we only stayed two. the camp was really quiet we were the only ones there. we spent one day at the camp getting bored because our activities key getting pushed back to 7pm. the food was nice but i expected more moroccô food. the price of the transfer wasn’t clear so when we came to pay, the price quoted was for each trip (I had understood it was for the round trip from our conversations)

Location is out the way but it is expected to be far.

Abdulaha was our host at the camp, possibly the worse host anyone can have with bad attitude and 0 customer service skills. The camp it self is nothing like it was advertised and hardly any lighting or fire outside. The food was horrible and given in very small portions, breakfast was even worse! I would not recommend the camp. Wi-Fi did not work at all or neither did the electric sockets in the room. Come to make the payment at the end of our stay and the card machine did not work and they made us pay all in cash and did not care how we would get back from the desert to our location!

Food was good

Staff not terribly obliging. Late when collecting us. Then played music so loud in the car we couldn’t hesrbpursrlves think. Next morning had to almost beg staff Tontafeln us back to the car. Dinner was good but despite fruit juices on the menu they had none. Tents are very nice. Shame about the staff.

All the comfort one needs in the middle of the desert. Host and his stuff are super friendly people who are there to provide you with all what you need. It is a must visit place in Morocco especially if you are looking for more then just touristic attraction and want to get to know more about life of local people of Merzouga desert.

for touring bikes, the approach to the meeting point is off road and tough. in fact one of our bikes went down. this should be mentioned in the description.

Amazing breakfast and dinner and awesome people! The communication was pretty decent beforehand about where to meet up. They set up some nice entertainment during the evening, much as you can expect from other similar places.

This was completely on the edge of the dessert, so it was more of a dessert view rather than a stay in the dessert.
