The checking in was different. No desk person you just get an email with your room number and they give you your code in the email

"Nobody's Inn"

The location was excellent. The price was decent. Parking on-site is beneficial.

No staff at all ie: housekeeping, desk help, no security or personnel on-site. All done remotely. A bit rundown. This is strictly a no frill place to sleep. TV only there for streaming services. A bit disappointing

Lol...there was coffee but I wouldn't have eaten pastries anyway. Totally functional for what I need. I lived in Rochester/Rochester Hills for 42 years. I came down to see my kids and grandsons. Live in Petoskey now. In 1984 I was living in the yellow house across the street. I grabbed some stuff and walked over to the hotel (then the Spartan) and stayed long enough to watch the whole '84 Olympics! The only thing that could use some improvement would be the stark bright whiteness of it all. No ambient lighting really. Even the little nightstand lights were super bright white. Now this would never prevent me from staying again (I'm hoping Christmas if there's an invite) but subtle changes like a light bulb can go a long way. Nice job Downtown Inn 👏

"Not a good place for the price!"

We left for the day expecting at least clean towels when we returned. Only 2 towels given. Nothing cleaned and no trash emptied. Not happy for the price!!!
