It was a little confusing finding the entrance

Price is what hooked us initially, but then when we got there it was even better than we expected! Jacuzzi tub was a treat!

Pool was closed :( kids were really disappointed, we just wanted a lil getaway, let the kids swim & get tired out lol

Great spot. Great new decor. User friendly with lots of thoughtful amenities. Host was super responsive whenever we had a question or concern. I used to rent at this resort back when they were timeshares. This unit has a ton of modern updates along with 2 huge smart TV flat screens and all new appliances as well as gorgeous new light fixtures! The host has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing, even a cozy throw blanket, extra sheets and pillows...even laundry detergent if you want to do a quick load of laundry or refresh the towels you've been using. I'd definitely recommend this unit and I'd definitely book it again!

If I have to give any suggestions... 1) I would suggest including directions on how to actually open the lock box. We had difficulty figuring it out. So that could be included in the instructions sent the day of check in 2) it would be nice to be left two dish towels, not just one. I will most likely try and remember to pack an extra one next time 3) Also a pair of oven mitts...we couldn't find any ( although there may have been a pair somewhere) We were disappointed the pool area was closed but this is NO fault of the Host's...it had a pipe leak so it was out of service the whole time we were there and that is one of the main reasons we enjoy Carriage Hills - the indoor/ outdoor pool and hot tubs. The host did inform us it would be open the day we left and let us check out an hour later, but we were unable to take advantage of that.
