Campbells Loft

The location was great. Close walk(5 mins?) to the tower and down a few blocks to the shops and restaurants. Parking space. Well equipped kitchen. Thoughtfully stocked with a few breakfast items to get you started( oats, coffee, cereal, milk , juice) and a few adult beverage options. James was an amazing host! Upon check-in he made sure we were settled, He made sure we were well versed in how to use his different shower set up. He went above and beyond and checked if we had questions about our plans for the next few days, made good suggestions on how it mapped out and guided us to the best transportation options. He even helped us easily make ferry reservations for our trip later in the week to Skye.

The host was very welcoming. The space was large enough for our family of 4 adults. We took James recommendation to take the ferry to Kerrera and enjoyed the walk to the rea garden, and the castle ruins. Beautiful area.

The shower was a little tricky but worked well once you had the trick down.

Location and views, pity it rained off and on. Very clean and extra equipment. Will be back again.

We found the beds a little too soft but all of us suffer with back problems so maybe not an issue for anyone else!

Eine sehr geräumige Unterkunft, sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Ein großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden (wichtig, wenn man mit dem Auto in Oban ist, da die Straßen oft sehr eng und Parkplätze Mangelware sind). Und über einen Fußweg ist man in ein paar Minuten im Stadtzentrum mit seinen Restaurants. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft ruhig gelegen, mit viel Grün herum. Der Gastgeber ist ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt gerne gute Tipps, was man in der Nähe unternehmen kann. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.
