The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable

The good things: This is an excellent location to stay in San Luis--a short walk to the centro historico and in the other direction a short walk to lovely Tequisquiapan park and many restaurants. The owners are very nice and you are served a delicious made to order breakfast. The sheets, pillows and bedding are of very nice quality. I guess I didn't review the photos well enough, as our room was very dark, which surprised me. The shutters which you could open were to the hallway that everyone passed by, so I didn't feel comfortable having them open. I like to have windows with light and fresh air, so this was disappointing.

The internet usually did not work in the room, so you had to sit in the patio/hallway to get a signal and even then it often went out. The parking lot for the hotel is 350 metres away, so too far to carry luggage. You had to block traffic to load and unload any bags, while stopping your vehicle. I was annoyed as they did not charge my credit card in pesos at the contracted rate. Rather they added a 6.5% exchange cost and charged in dollars. I did not know about this until getting home to see my bill. My credit card has zero percent exchange cost, so this added an extra $40. I did not approve such a thing and it wasn't mentioned to me. From now on I will only reserve a hotel where Booking takes your payment, rather than being done at the hotel.

Our room was more spacious than expected and had air-conditioning. The hotel had nice plants in all the nooks and crannies. The breakfast prepared by Carlos was a great way to start the day in a soothing spacious dining area. Carlos was very attentive to our needs, willing to help us with anything we needed like restaurant recommendations or when the internet was down and he arranged a reliable taxi to the airport for us. We highly recommend this hotel.

Can't beat the location--about a 2-minute walk to the historic district, but in the other direction are lots of restaurants and nightlife. The breakfast was very good, and the owners are super nice.

I found the bed on the hard side (I prefer plush), and the one thing I really didn't like is that every time you come or go, they have to open the door for you (which we felt bad about coming home late after going dancing).

Everything is excellent. Particularly the breakfast is yummy.

It would be wonderful if the room facilities would be improved for example provision of cup at the toilet.

Exceptional owners make this colonial hotel a wonderful stay. High ceilings, walking distance to restaurants and Centro area, free parking nearby, clean, & safe. Free breakfast was made-to-order and delicious authentic Mexican food.

セントロから徒歩圏内、駐車場は徒歩数分の場所にあります。 閑静な場所にあり、夜はゆっくりと眠ることができます。 ホテル全体、内装は統一感があり、可愛らしいアンティークな調度品が飾られています。 朝食もとてもおいしく、快適に過ごすことができました。 ホストがとても素晴らしく、我々家族に気づかってくれました。 強いて指摘する点があるとすればWi-Fiの環境があまり良くなく、インターネットは満足にでぎせんでした。 ただし、それを払拭するぐらいの滞在ができました。次にサンルイスポトシに来ることがあればまた滞在したいと思えるホテルでした。

El servicio es muy bueno, es una casona adaptada a hotel. Muy colonial propia de la arquitectura del área. El estacionamiento está a 2 cuadras, muy conveniente. Mi única sugerencia es cambiar la regadera, ya que sale para todos lados. Definitivamente un lugar al que volvería

This 100 year old home is beautiful and perfectly maintained and comfortable. Very tall ceilings, beveled leaded glass, antique crafts in the dining room. The owners, Carlos and Bertha are attentive, respectful and wonderful hosts.
