Mandrem Beach Resort, a member of Radisson Individuals Retreat

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Location is excellent, right by the beach, quiet. Staff are very attentive and will help with everything. The whole resort is beautiful. Drinking water is complimentary and refilled every day.

It's loud by the pool and there is a limited number of chairs for the guests. The rooms are not properly soundproof, so you hear other guests. Breakfast has limited Western options.

Where can you find a hotel room from which you can see a beautiful river passing by, a serene beach, and, at the same time, a distant hill? Ok, look no further and book the river-facing room here, and I guarantee that you will not regret it. I was looking for a relaxing stay in Goa and wanted to avoid all the hassle and the crowd at the typical Goa beaches. I have chosen the Mandrem beach. I came to know about this hotel from the video of a travel influencer, and I am happy to say that this hotel exceeds my expectations in every aspect. The hotel is on the Mandrem River, and at the same time, the boundary wall of the hotel is on the Mandrem sea beach. I've been to Goa many times and have never come across such a unique location. The food served in the restaurants is delicious. We've tried many items from the menu during our stay, but could not find any item that disappointed us. I strongly recommend everyone try the in-house restaurant. My review is not without acknowledging the hard work of all the hotel staff whose services keep the hotel spotless and our stay comfortable. I can only mention Chef Priyanka, Zeenal, Eliaton, Francisco, Filicia, Janice, and Cyril, who were always there to help us.

Location, ambience, staff behaviour

Bed could have been more comfortable. Too fluffy for people who prefer hard mattresses.

Our room was really lovely with a great view of the trees and the sea, plus the hotel kindly upgraded us which was such a treat! The pool was great and the area to sit and view the sunsets on the beach was lovely. We also really loved the restaurant and all the staff working at the hotel made us feel so welcome. Niha and soron at the front desk, Francisco and puja and filicia and Ellison and everyone in the restaurant, Benjamin and his colleague at the pool were all so kind to us and took such great care of us!
