Royal Mile Mansions by Edinburgh City Apartments

The flat was in an excellent location. It was on the quiet side of the building, so even though it is on the Royal Mile, we didn’t hear any street noise.

The hide-a-bed mattress was a little thin and uncomfortable for 17 year old boys.

It was very central and had all the facilities that we required

Perfect location. Walking distance for everything. Restaurant, grocery, etc. The facility has a lift. Comfy bed free wifi. Washing machine.

I suggest to put number sign on the black gate. So it easy find.

The location was perfect in Royal Mile. We didnt hear any noises from the street. The flats were clean and the kitchens were well equipped.

The location of the house is awesome. It is just in the middle of royal mile. Inside seemed clean to me. It had washing machine, kettle, tv, iron. Saloon is small and have only 1 coach. It was not loud outside. It is in an apartment that you can get in by entering a code. The thing is, the most important thing for me was to feel safe. I attached a photo of the outer door of the house. There s no other lock than the keyhole. I simply put some stuff behind it to block any entrance. Just wanted to share for solo travelers.

Location was excellent. Right on the royal mile! Sheets and towels were clean. Apartment was clean too. However, the location is really all you will be paying for. The apartment smells strongly like cigarette smoke.The mattress on the bed was passable, but the pullout sofa was bad. The closet doors were coming off in the bedroom. The oven stopped working as well while we were there. The worst and most frustrating thing was the lack of response from the owner. When contacted about the oven, he did not respond. We were unable to cook at home as a result. In fact, he did not respond every time we tried to contact him. We won't be returning here and encourage others not to.
