The Bradstan Boutique Hotel

Well, the suites are spacious and beautiful, and the setting is very serene and tranquil, certainly conducive for relaxing, but overall the service really doesn’t have the polish and isn’t as proactive as it should be for the price point. No one escorted us to our suite and that would’ve been helpful to explain the complex lighting system, and how the refrigerator worked – something we misunderstood and as a result had food that was spoiled because the refrigerator was not cold enough. It was also my husband’s birthday and again considering the price point a nice welcome treat would’ve been appreciated. The hotel is beautiful and the service and food in the restaurant were very good – but we’d like to see a few more things on the brunch menu. The desserts at the dinner were the big miss – mediocre at best. More importantly, you guys really need a spa or some sort of wellness classes or evening activities to make it a fuller experience comparable to Woodloch Lodge or Canyon Ranch. The gym is fine, there’s one of each basic piece of equipment, but there were no cold towels or cold bottles of water, which is a big miss. The grade of toiletries is a bit subpar again just based on the price of the rooms, there were no tissues in the room, but we loved the heated towel rack. The only thing you really need to tweak beyond that in these suites is the fact that the blackout shades do not fully blackout the light, even though the automatic lowering and raising buttons are fun. And I doubt you can do anything about this – but you do hear the occasional car and trucks going by as we’re still fairly close to the road, and you might want to look into soundproofing walls around the estate. We relaxed, we loved T the pool, but to get a full five star rating I think you’ve got to tweak a few things. Really love the homemade cookies in the lobby though! Thanks

We came here for a small work offsite. The rooms are really wonderful: spacious, clean, new, beautifully well appointed and also thoughtful. There is enough room to unpack, chargers are in the right places, every toiletry is considered down to makeup wipes and a makeup towel, small candies are left for you. The rooms are practical and truly beautiful and very comfortable. Loved being able to run around the lake in the morning too. A special retreat to nature!

We were fortunate to win a free night at the Bradstan Boutique Hotel at the Eldred reserve at a Cystic Fibrosis fund raiser. After viewing their web site, we decided to stay an additional night and was not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and so attentive. The check in process was smooth and quick. Our room was spotless, spacious and well appointed with all the amenities we could ask for. We so enjoyed our walks on the beautiful trails. Breakfast each morning was a highlight--delicious with a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, pastries and hot dishes. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This was our third stay at The Bradstan. It's in an ideal location to explore both sides of the Delaware River. The rooms are comfortable and large. Staff are uniformly wonderful. We took advantage of an offer to get a ride to Sunrise Lake, which was relaxing. The ladies providing breakfast were particularly friendly. We even saw two beavers in the ponds. Our only issue was that the service and food at The Homestead restaurant was incredibly poor. It was our fourth visit there. We have had service problems before but the food has been good.

Nice resort to spend a few days. The grounds are very nice including a private lake, pool and onsite lounge and restaurant. Not much else around unless you head over to bethel woods for a show or maybe a local brewery. We ate at the hotel both nights which was very good. The rooms are also nice and you can see a lot of thought went into the design of the rooms and overall hotel. Lastly - the free breakfast was very good including the coffee.

Beautiful facilities and environment. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped (although I felt the pillow was too thick for my taste) and the walking trail is beautiful and peaceful. Excellent breakfast, and the bar and restaurant are top notch.

What a magnificent property - and the hotel was wonderful. Very well kept, beautifully decorated and with high-quality service. We loved the paddle boats and the kayaking and the walk around the lake was lovely. Our room was breathtaking...and we will come back again and recommend this hotel and reserve to our friends.

Amazing stay! Beautiful grounds/lake…kayaking, hiking on property is huge bonus. Shuttle service to Bethel Woods and back was awesome too! Friendly, excellent communication from staff…really was an A++ stay! Also, Irvin is truly the best!

We came to see music at Bethel Woods. The rooms were great and recently renovated. Property is amazing. Breakfast was superb but restaurant can use a little help in terms of service and quality of food.
