The setting was perfect. Handy for exploring the area, yet quiet for a restful holiday. And close enough for any facilities you might need

The location is beautiful and very quiet.

The property is not in the same condition as advertised.

We liked the location of the property as it was nice and peaceful, yet close by in a car to nearby towns, amenities, and tourist attractions. We also liked the property itself as it was done out to a good standard. It was very comfortable.

We personally would have preferred better cooking appliances instead of the microwave/oven as we would have found an actual oven easier to use. Having said this, it did not affect our stay and is just a personal opinion.

The bed was comfortable, nice size rooms

Basically sack the cleaner, big stains on the lounge carpet, stains on the curtains, dirty stains around base of shower, toilet roll holder was disgusting, cups and bowls were still dirty from previous guests, kitchen bin lid dirty and rusty, thick dust around top edge of kitchen tiles and back of microwave, big chips on plates and bowls

The Pepper Pot is a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast with Alnmouth, Embleton Bay and Warkworth within 20 mins drive. The property is well maintained and has everything you need for a self-catered stay - including a starter pack of milk, a toilet roll, chocolate and bottle of wine! For dog walks, there’s a bridleway just a few metres from the property - check this on OS maps.

Not really a dislike, but to note that the postcode will direct you to a neighbouring property. The Pepper Pot is the next property along on the opposite side of the road if coming from the south. What.3.words is useful for sharing location with others.

Great location, great layout and very comfortable for a couple.

Had a great time nothing to complain about

Clean, warm and very comfy bed. Great location for Alnwick and the coast.

The settee was comfortable but small - it needs a pouffe so people can put their feet up.
