Amazing location, so central, facilities were great, a real home from home. Dog friendly.

A fantastic property in a wonderful location!

Location of the property and layout also very quiet

When I arrived at the property found that one of the beds had not been made and used bed linen still on the floor. In both bathrooms dirty towels had not been removed and no clean replacement towels had to wash them ourselves. The kitchen bin was full had not been emptied so not nice smell. The freezer could not be used as it needed defrosting , kitchen floor needed a sweep and old sock found behind radiator. I contacted Host and Stay to resolve issue including sending photos of what I found but nothing happened if we didn't have washing machine in the property we would have had to purchase towels. For the price I paid and the standard of property displayed in the photos this was not acceptable. This was a surprise trip for my partner and did not get off to a good start.

It was a beautiful house very clean I would definitely stay again perfect location.

This is without a doubt the best self catered accommodation we have ever stayed in… and we have traveled a lot. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful. And finished to a very high standard. But the breathtaking views from the roof terrace are worth the price alone. The best view of the Abbey in Whitby in my opinion. However, it’s fine floors of stairs which can take its toll when waking the hilly town all day. Just wish it had a bath! We wil DEFINITELY stay again and recommend to everyone headed that way. An absolute gem and so worth the money
