Glamping The Mountain

Great couples weekend getaway. Comfortable room. Attentive staff gets you anything you need. I see some reviewers complaining about not being able to leave after 6pm. That is out of their control due to local law and is clearly stated on the hotel’s website and the booking. If your plans are to go to the bars at night, why would you stay at a beautiful place like this? I call that user error.

We enjoyed our stay at Glamping the Mountain very much. They served a full breakfast that included fruit, eggs and coffee and it was cooked to order. The rooms/cabins were very nice and each one had a jacuzzi tub. The staff was very accommodating and answered all our questions with a smile.

Everything was nice at the resort. The only thing we didn't fully understand upon booking was that you had to take the boat over by 6 pm as they do not allow the boats to be on the lake after this time. The staff however was able to order us a pizza the first night and have it delivered to us as we did not eat before getting to the hotel.

I loved our cabana! It was all wood inside, had a king-sized bed, a bar fridge, and a spacious deck with sunbeds and a jacuzzi that could be hot or cool. And a fabulous view of Guatape across the water. I liked being away from the town and yet it was only a few minutes boat ride away. We used WhatsApp to let the staff know anytime we wanted to cross over.

The boat ride back from the town was only available until 9pm. This was not a problem for us, but it would be if you wanted to stay later in town. No English was spoken by the staff and our Spanish is limited, but we managed to communicate with the help of Google translate. Because the property is on a hillside, there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to some of the cabanas which might be a problem for some people.

The staff is incredible always reactive! the bungalow are really nice with a spectacular view! the jacuzzi was a big plus! we loved to used the kayak too.

our stay in this place was amazing!!! The attention from the staff was excellent, especially the person in charge of the Glamping, very attentive and always willing to help. The place is very comfortable, pleasant and you feel connected with nature. The view is excellent, the landscape cannot be better. The food is very good with good options. I totally recommend this place.

The view was amazing! Bed was comfortable and breakfast was great. It was super nice to have the jacuzzi, perfect for some relaxation time and then laying down on the katamaran net to enjoy the view was absolutely amazing. Everything was clean and staff was very kind. Very good location since it’s only 3min by boat from center of Guatape.

I have no complains about this place :)
