Glamping The Mountain

First you park in the town then you walk about 5 minutes to a dock to take the boat, only get there by boat. Check in is at the top of the property accessed by stairs. From the start there were problems. Jacuzzi didn't work. Found out that the wifi didn't either. Food is an issue only access is by boat. they have a very limited kitchen/bar. dinner took 2 hours. Day 2 Breakfast was good and on time. then the electricity started to go out, then on, then off. All day. Then the water stopped working as well. The staff said the power company was reducing coverage in the area. Found out that was a lie when it got dark, and we could see the mainland all had power. They finally told us at 7pm they were not going to fix it and they had a room for us on the mainland at another hotel. We packed up and went to the boat only to be told the room was not available for us. So, we asked to be taken to the mainland. To my surprise they said no. I had to yell at the boat operator to take us at once. While on the water a police boat told us to return, that's right they called the police on us. After the police interviewed us and the manager, they said we could go since we had paid our bill. The manager then tried to get us to sign a document saying we would not try to receive a refund. We did not sign and left. The place has a great idea and potential, but they have zero execution of it working and being efficient. Plus, to call the police on guests who just want to leave and hold them hostage.

The Glampings are very beautiful, the location is perfect with awesome views of la piedra del peñol. It is really close to Guatapé. If you go by car you should park in the municipal parking (lots of spots). To go to and from the glamping the personnel at the glamping take you by boat to Guatapé at anytime but always before 6pm. The personnel is really friendly and always at your service. And the most important thing, the glampings are solid enough to resist a thunderstorm! Really recommend it!!

Where to begin 🤔. The cabins are absolutely beautiful private clean romantic. Love love this place. The service was outstanding. Wil definitely be back.

The staff was amazing. Incredible attentive, professional and overall kind hearted. I can't say enough great things about these amazing individuals.

I realize that this is "glamping", but there are times during the day when it gets hot, and I would prefer to have air conditioning. But again, that's a personal preference. My companion didn't seem to mind. I also thought that the town was not visible from this space initially.

There are lots of things to write about this hotel... First of all, it is really new with lots of operational issues. There are only two people working in the hotel, they are great and the owner should be fortunate to have them but they are not enough. You cannot expect one person will make all the paperwork + welcoming, and the other one will be a boat captain+ bar tender+ bellboy, etc. It is definitely a cute idea to glamping but it is so close to the town and you don't feel like you are in nature. Here are some of my observations about the hotel, I hope they can fix the issues: - No privacy in the hot tub area, you can see the other guests easily from your balcony - Put some real vines, not the plastic vines on the balcony. The hotel is in Colombia, everywhere is full of beautiful plants! - No hooks near the hot tub and the curtains need some weight - You can post the hot tub instructions, so guests can easily fill the tub without dealing with bugs in the water - You need to change your GPS locations, and describe to the guest that the hotel is only accessible with a boat! - Reception should be close to the boat deck not 100 ft above sea level. Carrying our bags was torture! - Bed was comfy and bathroom was a good size

- There is nobody in the hotel after 9 pm, all staff is returning home. It is really inconvenient. - You can only reach the hotel by boat, which is not written anywhere. The staff reached us via Whatsapp but didn't describe anything, so we took a taxi based on the address on Booking.com, and it was wrong. - Hatch on the roof is leaking during heavy rain. - Breakfast was okay, I was really disappointed to see fake juice in a country full of yummy fruits. - We order 4 gin and tonics, and all of them were in different looks with different tastes. Consistency is the key :) - Even if it says that the staff speaks English, nobody was speaking English.

What an incredibly cute lil place. My friends and I relaxed in the hot tub for the night (while it rained hhaaahah). Breakfast was delivered to my DOOR. The bed, OMG I could've melted into it and stayed all day. And la malla con la vista <3333 increible.

During the rain, the cabin was leaking a little and the hot water had an alarm situation going on in my room. I'm not sure what that was but I showered in hot water for 2 minutes and then cold :/
