Martha's Bed and Breakfast

Great place to stay in Lincoln. Easy drive to downtown. Very quiet. Confortable room and bed. Nice size bathroom and shower. Definitely would stay here again.

The charm of this home was exceptionally spectacular, the photos do not do it justice. I could not find a SPECK of dirt, dust, or stray hair anywhere- 11/10 for cleanliness! The host was kind and welcoming. We stayed in the Marilyn Room and thought it was absolutely stunning, the bathroom had modern updates and it was large enough to fit a pack and play and a couple air mattresses if needed! This was in August, the temps that day were in the 90's, yet for being on the 3rd floor, the room was nice and cool. It was a 10 minute drive to Memorial Stadium.

There was not a single thing I would have changed about this stay.

I like the feeling of coming home instead of a hotel room.

Lovingly restored Lincoln mansion, in a quiet historic neighborhood. Rooms were gorgeous, with lovely antique furniture and furnishings, yet everything modernized. Comfortable beds and high quality linens. Huge front porch on which to relax on summer evenings. Very welcoming and responsive host. Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

The home is beautifully remodeled, keeping historical details. Room was spacious and attractive. Bed and linens really luxurious. Neighborhood is lovely.

We are used to BnB’s in which a host has presence. The host was only present at greeting, not checking in to be helpful at breakfast or at any other time. We had an issue in our room that we had to text twice about then call twice across 2 days, before it was addressed. There were no written instructions in the bedrooms, for example providing the Wi-Fi password (we later found it on a sign at the check-in desk). There were no materials around in the sitting rooms or entry hall about Lincoln or Nebraska that might have helped in the absence of host guidance. While the setting is luxurious, the service is not.
