the only problem was parking

The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated with lovely colours and pictures. It had wonderful views from its balconies and of the neighbourhood's luxuriant plantings from the many pots, which added greatly to its charm. The apartment was in a superb location, just around the corner from the Fountain of Arethusa. It was within easy walking distance from all the Ortigia sights - even the archaeological park was not too far away by foot. The host was very helpful and made our stay extremely pleasant.

Beautiful spacious suite that was upgraded with a new kitchen and new tiled floor. Nice two bedrooms and two bathrooms. As two couples sharing the suite, there was lots of room to move around and privacy was not an issue. The location is great and at the hub of all the action.

There is no onsite parking and parking is difficult to find close by. There is a pay parking lot one block away but it is expensive at 20 euro per day. We chose this location since it was close to the ocean, however there is no beachfront except a small patch of sand near the dock.
