Ideally placed at the centre of the village. Very comfortable room and the food was really good.

TV not tuned in properly though have no doubt would have been fixed if not had staff shortages.

Die Bäder sind winzig und somit für große und/oder füllige Menschen absolut unkomfortabel. Auf der Toilette fühlt man sich, als hätte ein irischer Billigfluganbieter das Design in Auftrag gegeben. Das Bett war unbequem. Die Matratze müsste erneuert werden. Der Lüfter im Bad funktionierte nicht, was dazu führte, dass die Decke im Bad schimmelig war. Das Personal wirkte überfordert und konnte nicht gut weiterhelfen. Der Parkplatz ist ca. 200 m entfernt und kostenpflichtig. Man zahlt für 24 Stunden 9,50 Pfund. Da man diese Kosten zum Zimmer hinzurechnen muss, ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht stimmig.

The location, staff, and price were all amazing and made us feel well looked after and a great place to stay in the lakes. The breakfast was also really good with hot food to order!

Room was slightly squashed and the blinds did not block out much light in the morning.

A great hotel in a very good location. Loved the keypad on the room door so no keys needed and made coming and going so much easier. Breakfast was good value for money and the room was clean and very quiet. Fantastic hotel for the price ..it had no parking at the hotel but the main car park was less than a 5 minute walk away.

Poppi Red is in the middle of the village, a 2 min walk from the village car park. Our room was lovely, huge walk-in shower, and a huge claw-foot tub. Comfortable bed, and lovely features such as a coffee machine. Had dinner at the restaurant -pizza was lovely, and my husband said the burger was one of the best he had had.

We were supposed to get an email with details on how to check-in - we didn't receive this, and it seemed that other guests had the same issue. When I booked the room, I had asked to reserve a table for dinner, and despite getting confirmation - when we arrived for dinner, they had no record of our booking. It's worth noting that the rooms are up a few flights of stairs (we were on the top floor), there's no lift, so bear this in mind that you'll be lugging your suitcase up and down a narrow staircase.

Great breakfast that we could not fault

Staff in the evening seemed stressed, trying to run the restaurant and attend to staying guests. The room was very small and cramped especially the bathroom.
