Comfy but small room with nice view over village centre

The room was a double but would have been small for 2 people. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom

Gorgeous room, perfect location to walk in the village.

The parking - back in paid parking 5 min walk but not a big issue. Just be prepared.

Room was clean, well decorated

Palm reader to enter the room was hit and miss. TV was impossible, no order to channels, couldn't find ITV and BBC channels were Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. To be honest, it was easier to turn it off

Location was fine in the centre of Hawkshead, didn't have breakfast.

The room was extremely small with only a couple of feet between the bottom of the bed and the wall (which had the TV on it) so shuffling past in the night not easy. NOwehere to sit and relax. The staff said that if you booked through booking.com you got the smallest room! For over £100 per night it was very expensive. The room was over the cafe so there was the noise from the music playing downstairs, not conducive if you want to rest late afternoon or go to bed early. The handles to the door between the bedroom and the en-suite were loose and the door was difficult to move. The en-suite needs decorating.

Bad smell at the bottom stairs (fried food smells)

Everything is just perfect, stayed multiple times with no concerns

Location perfect right in the centre of the town. Parking literally a minutes walk . Friendly polite helpful staff
