Lodge - Sleeps 6 hot tub & pet friendly

The property was in a great location with beautiful surroundings , the property has 2 big bathrooms and a nice balcony area

The property wasn’t very clean and there was a lot of things broken, we only stayed 1 night, there was a large Alsatian dog in the place next door which chased and barked at our kids I see this is out of the hosts control but it was very frightening as it charged at the kids while they played football out the front , it also chased after us when we went out later it could have just been playing but it was very scary I’m not scared of dogs but this dog really scared me, the property needs a deep clean and the broken things need fixing really for the price I was disappointed and glad we were only staying 1 night

Nice location

Got here opened the fridge and it stunk disgusting Bed was horrible and squeaky, no toilet rolls or towels Shower head was held up by a folk

The bedding was dirty, I had to re wash it. The dishwasher was mouldy and had dirty plates in it. Some of the cupboards were also mouldy. The overall cleanliness of the lodge was very poor. When we arrived there was a box outside with pizza crusts and empty wine bottles in. We also didn't have any heating or hot water as the gas bottles had ran out. This did get sorted but it took a while

The surrounding area

The uncleanliness of the interior, the awful stained and old bedding, no clean towels, no bin, filthy crockery, no hot water, mouldy cupboards all for a ridiculous high price

I like that the lodge had 2 separate bathroom’s and an open plan kitchen/living room space

No kitchen bin, dirty towels, shower head was held together by a spoon, fridge kept turning off & hot tub didn’t heat up

Gorgeous rural location, beautiful lodge, lovely and relaxing

Everything was great

Lovely views, easy check in, staff available and easy to contact. Hot tub was set up and ready to use on arrival. Lovely quiet park, had a lovely peaceful stay.
