The place didn't feel safe we left and found a new place to stay luckily we hadn't paid any money... It genuinely looked like a drug den.

Everything! Was looking for a cheap place to stay just a few hours as we were landing late. This was the cheapest but I considerate it expensive for what is provided. Communication is awful. Tried to find whether I could check in at any time but no reply. On booking it says it goes from 15hr till 15hr so we assumed it was 24/7. As we checked in at 3am they tried to charge us late check in, which we didn't pay because there's no information and we did try to contact in advance many times with no reply. We had to pay cash for the night, not sure whether there's a card option or if it's because of the timings. Really hard to find the location. There's no indication of the existence of this place and no clear directions given when booking it. Received a message saying to call a number on repeat on arrival but no answer. Luckily there were some guys in a car that were able to direct us and call someone to do our check in. Beds were not made when we arrived (as if they were not expecting us). The guy went to grab some linen and made them. It was super old linen, all stained and with holes in it. And only had a sheet to cover, no blanket. As the AC was on, I got cold. Pillows look like the ones provided on long haul flights, they're non existent even by folding them. The rooms were spacious but not clean. A lot of sand on the floor and rubbish on top of the table. If you stay on a top bunk bed expect it to rock from side to side. The only socket available was by the table but 2m high from the floor so whatever you're charging will be hanging. You can hear noise from outside. We paid for a mixed room, but there's only female and male rooms. Everything outside the rooms looked disgusting. I'm glad I didn't shower in that place. Just looking at the sink was already too much. There's a soap bar to be shared by all guests. There's a large mirror all greasy that has never seen cleaning.

They have to solve the booking reservation and honor it! We traveled a long way trusting we have a bed to sleep on. We made the reservation 3 days before at Beach dorms San Juan. So after confirmation of the stay, we went there to recieve the note that they gave our beds to someone else. And we weren't the only ones. Other people was complaining of having the same experience at the same time. At least for our own we solve, but we was near to sleep on the streets cause of such incident. Make it better next time, honor the reservation!
