Everything, the location, the decor of the house is fabulous. 10 minute leisurely walk into Whitby,

House up some steep uneven stops so possibly not good for anyone with mobility issues

Great location and comfortable

The main oven didn't work and I was cooking Xmas dinner.

Well appointed and comfortable. Parking space is a short walk up the hill from the property and is handy with parking bejng generally a bit tricky in whitby at busy times.

Nothing in the guest info for heating controller, we had to message to find where it was. (Its in the upstairs livingroom on the table and looks like a clock!) Upstairs bedrooms have low ceilings- you will need to duck! But nothing that takes away from an excellent stay

It was near the town Clean and excellent kitchen appliances

Both me and my partner are over 80 Kitchen on second floor up steep winding staircase Bedrooms on third floor again up a steep winding staircase But the worst had yet to come the beams were that low you have to be under four feet to walk about and be even more careful when getting in or out of bed as the ceiling was only about a foot above our heads Needless to say we had a few bumps on our heads Outside the premises the walkway was full of rubbish and uneven.Steps were also uneven No lights were on walkway so had to use phone torch to see where we were walking at night Car parking is a near 10 minutes walk up a really steep hill then park on someones drive impossibly for us to do On the first night we came in to find no lights or sockets working so we had no cuppa before bed We made our way to bed again under torch light thank you phone

lots of steps, no welcome pack, if you find a parking spot leave your motor in it till you leave. dealing with host and stay was like juggling soot.

The location was good, but a bit of a walk from the town centre.

Parking was not very convenient, a stiff walk away up a very steep hill. Generally, parking in Whitby is very limited.

Plenty of lounge space

Low ceilings in the bedrooms, rather a steep hill to the car.

Good location clean good facilities

Beds were a bit small

The cottage is in a great location and within walking distance to the centre . Very clean and everything you could need for a few days away . Beds were really comfortable too.

There is a lack of parking especially close to the property. We didn’t go out much in the car incase I couldn’t get parked again as it was just me and my two children .
