Host & Stay - Knight Retreat

Lovely little apartment in a great location, very clean, the clean smell hit you when going in. Great kitchen with everything you need and more. Lovely shower in a small but fresh and clean bathroom. Large tv in bedroom and living room. Bed linen was lovely quality. Washing machine and dish washer was an added bonus.

Small bath towels rather than bath sheets. The noise from above ( floors were creaking when people were walking around) annoying but didn’t spoil my stay.

The location is amazing, perfect for the town centre . Everything you need is provided . Plenty of plates, glasses , cutlery , ironing facilities, cleaning equipment, didn't want for anything

We arrived and the property hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupier . We ended up on the phone to booking.com and host and stay till after 9 that night with no help from either. We ended up cleaning the property ourselves and sleeping on a bare bed as the bedding was dirty. We later found out it wasn't the owners fault but pretty much ruined the first night

Parking outside is impossible as you will get blocked in completely!

Location and comfort

Clean, comfortable with a very modern renovation and refurbishment. Rain shower was excellent too.

Although there’s no mention of supplying shower gel in the amenities list, I’d taken for granted there would be some available, but no! Brought none with us, so had to nip out to buy some. Never stayed anywhere that doesn’t supply shower gel. Check-in after 4pm and checkout before 10am times are a bit restrictive compared to other places we’ve stayed. Especially as there’s no facility to drop bags off if you arrive early and none for bag storage after checking out.
