Eastin Hotel Vientiane

Wonderful hotel with stunning views across the Mekong River. Managed to catch the Sunrise and Sunset from my the balcony in my room. Stunning! Excellent service from all the staff that greeted me. Many thanks.

It was amazing, service was excellent, beautiful architectural design, nice floorings and colors combinations.

The hotel was really nice as were the restaurants. I disregarded other reviews about the pool space but I shouldn’t have; there are literally four sun beds, and two high tables, so it’s a bit uncomfortable to be there. Also, it was probably the river and not the hotel but my room smelled like sewage, especially in the morning. Other than that, I highly recommend!

Hotel was good. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Air conditioning in our room would turn off randomly. First night, we were asked to sleep in another room while they fixed the air. In the second night, air not working again and agreed to move us to another room. Upgraded to a suite, which was very nice.

a little bit out of the way to shopping. food was not much, then again Vientiane wasn't much.

There is almost nothing within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel seemed new but the room was small compared to other Thai hotels I have stayed in. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free but only goes to two locations and they forgot to pick us up once stranding us downtown. I had no phone or Lao currency so it was stressful and difficult to get back to the hotel. I was furious about that but the desk clerk paid the taxi and the hotel did not ask me to reimburse them. They had multiple restaurants in the hotel but they all had the exact same menu. I saw plans for a new and better menu but it wasn’t available for us.

Property was fairly new. Staff was very polite and professional. Shuttle service was offered to a couple popular spots near town.
