Good for price. Rooftop space but see comment below. Could be amazing 🤩

Cold shower. Bedroom needed a fresh paint. Rooftop needs to be made safe and cleaned up.

Close to Casco Viejo which is what we wanted. Air Conditioner worked well when it was on. Private room and bathroom was nice to have.

The AC would turn off if somebody hit a switch in the main office area. It took us a while to figure out what was going on when we came back and our room was hot but the AC controller was still on. We ran out of toilet paper and were told they didn't have any extra for us - thankfully the supermarket was across the street and still open so we bought our own.

Location was convenient, room was minimalistic, but relatively clean and comfortable. Fine for the money. Things to note: no hot water and only outlet was near the ceiling - cant charge device like phone or computer like that! We did have a power outage and I had to pack in the dark though. Guy who checked me in was nice and helpful.

"Too good to be true!"

I was excited to discover a hostel that had a regular hotel room feel! $25/nt! Boy, was I wrong! There was only 1 bed. ✔️ An ensuite bathroom. ✔️ Close to the grocery store and near the night life. ✔️ But it was rundown and, while clean, the stains on everything left it feeling dirty. The room didn’t have a window. And my driver told me what areas not yo go to after dark. While I wasn't afraid or disgusted, it just wasn't for me. I checked out and found another hotel. Note to self: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Simple, minimalist, quiet one room priv bathroom on a pedestrian street, in busy, noisy, dirty old town Panama City. Uber can't drop you at the front door. A short walk through an alley with shops during the day, shuttered at night. Learn a little spanish!
