Great location, spotlessly clean. Good for a couple.

We booked because it was one of the few apartments with a bath - unfortunately, the bath water ran brown so it was unusable on both days we stayed. Disappointing.

"Make sure you sort the parking scratch card before doing anything!!"

The bedroom and upstairs had a very nice relaxed homely feel and the heating warmed up very quickly. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use. Ideal location as short walk to everything. Would use the property again as the upkeep was immaculate.

Downstairs was not as warm and cosy as upstairs. We arrived after a 2.5 hour journey, unloaded the car then used the bathroom facilities, went outside to put the scratch card in the car for parking and within those 10 minutes there was a parking ticket on my car!

We struck lucky with The Salt Nook. It is a beautiful apartment, very modern in a Georgian villa. Decorated to a very high standard, modern and very clean.

The parking system is something you need to get onto as soon as you arrive or you risk getting a ticket.

This apartment was centrally located. It was really useful having scratch cards for parking.

There are a number of issues, Host & Stay are not cleaning this property effectively. There were no blinds in the bedroom which are an absolute must as you are so overlooked. The mattress needs changing. The property is damp which needs addressing. There were so many areas that had not been cleaned, this is really poor given the check in and out time, I can only assume there are not enough people to clean and they are not given enough time to clean.. the shower head dropped down constantly, annoying, so my husband did a makeshift holder.. as you can see by the attached photos this is not acceptable and needs sorting! it comes down to greediness by the property company.
