Salty Towers Oceanfront Cottages

The electric kettle didn’t work properly and the owner insisted that we wait 5-10 minutes for it to start working, which we had to do each time we wanted to make tea and coffee. Obviously the proprietors are too cheap to replace it

Amazing experience.

Perfect 2 night getaway. Very quiet, and lovely short walk to Whiffen Spit. Short drive into Sooke for dining. great hosts.

It is very private and quiet. It was very tastefullly decorated. Could use a 2 element hot plate.

What an amazing place to stay! Overlooking the Spit, within walking distance of downtown Sooke. It was so peaceful. We loved it.

We found that the marketing pictures did not represent what we rented or expected. The photos shown a hot tub off deck and view of water. Our cabin did not- the owners HOME had the view and hot tub. We stayed 4 nights. Had to go ask for more paper products and towels on 3rd day. Cabin was not adequately cleaned/ small appliances blew the breaker. Kitchen Tool were used, and everything needed cleaning before use. The floors and bathroom we cleaned. No adequate supplies. It was my birthday get away and we were disappointed. Photo is the actual view! ☹️

Hot tub was great. Room was fairly spacious. Area was very quiet and the ocean view was wonderful from the hot tub. Fridge was very small and there were no hooks for coats or clothes. walkway out to the ocean was very nice but did need some work to make it feel safer. Price was good. Would definitely stay there again,

We enjoyed our two nights at Salty Towers right on the water. Especially enjoyed the hot tub at night- one night in total fog! Nice views from the back. Pretty convenient (not walking distance) to town and restaurants etc.

All dishes filthy. I poured a glass of wine which went to waste because then it started to create foam on the surface from who knows what was in the glass. Then I went through checking every single glass until I decided to just wash one so I could have my glass of wine. I wanted to use a mug, they all turned out to be not mildly dirty, but FILTHY. Our host later expressed annoyance with us for not having closed the jacuzzi properly which is not fair as there were no instructions for use of Jacuzzi nor can he expect all his guests to know how to properly care for a hot tub. Very disappointed overall. The property is also not as in as fair condition as the images show. Will not return
