Wander the Resort

My overall experience was quite positive. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the lake was simply beautiful. The only area that needs improvement is the restaurant's food service. When ordering food to your room, be prepared to bake it yourself. Also, the sauces were provided separately without clear instructions, which was a bit confusing and time-consuming to figure out which sauce paired with which dish. A little more clarity in this aspect would enhance the overall dining experience.

We had a delicious meal at the restaurant, Gather, located in the resort. Our group of four tried both the Countylicious menu and the regular menu. Each were equally mouthwatering and beautifully presented. Service was professional and extremely friendly. The atmosphere is modern and very comfortable . I would highly recommend the dining experience at Gather and from the look of the rest of the resort, a return visit is definitely in order!

The resort is gorgeous- from the entry to the clubhouse to the bed styling, no details are missed. If you are looking for a luxurious stay with cozy vibes, this property is the perfect fit.

Everything was fantastic! Very peaceful, beautifully kept grounds, buildings, and overall space was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this resort!

A new place in the County with restaurant, pool/sauna/hot tub/sauna/beachfront swimming lounging on West lake/Wellington. A full service spa is still under construction. There is about 15 nicely finished cabin cottages for rental - truly a full service (high end) resort. Day passes to use the facilities $40 p/p daily. The food was well prepared and the relatively small menu seemed a la carte - compliments to the chef. The potato soup was superb. Well experienced staff and servers - extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Food portions were quite adequate and I felt it was good value for a $$$$ high end restaurant. A beautiful panoramic view overlooking the lake and grounds with operable all wall windows that open/close, s full service bar adjacent the dining area- a new facility/modern architecture and nicely designed/finished. A good experience. Drinks, dinner for 2 - $160 with tax/tip - good value for the County.

Highlights below from our experience: The "pros" : - Gorgeous location, property pristine - Cabin was clean and very comfortable- had every amenity you need - Love the new addition of the sound machines by each bed, thanks! - Nice welcome notes & welcome drinks - Great beds and linens - Quiet property - Building a spa to open later this year, sounds fantastic - Food was excellent - The text option with their team was very helpful, and fast replies - Relaxing music piped in around beach area, cool vibe - Seamless check in, organized with emails and texts - Appreciate how the Wander is supporting local biz to partner with A few "cons”: - Only big criticism is how difficult it is to reach them by phone. Always seems to go to voicemail, frustrating - Shower in our cabin was a bit tricky as floor was so slippery - Don’t love the towels - Bathroom lighting poor - A regular coffee maker in room would be so appreciated, or one to request thank you Wander!

Amazing resort

A very nice relaxing getaway just listening to crashing waves, feeling the warm sun and cool breeze on your skin and watching the birds fly across the horizon. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout the stay and the small touches in the cabin really touched our hearts. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that our in cabin dining food took over an hour to arrive and the food arrived cold but other than that, the trip was great.
