"Excellent"

The hotel was very cute, and very conveniently located and had everything you could need in the room. The shower stall was small and took a long time to warm up. Because the hotel did not have a desk, or customer service there it very much feels like you are on an island, and the bed was rather hard. Despite these minor problems a very pleasant stay and would consider staying again.

There were a few complications with the room at first, but after I reached out for some clarifications, I immediately had received a response. Harold was extremely helpful and gracious finding a solution and we were very appreciative. I will definitely book another stay with Maverick Suites, but would probably sign up for a more updated room.

I stay at maverick suites every time I come to Boston. It’s clean, affordable, located in nice neighborhoods, no frills, no nonsense, and decor is simple urban understated chic. It’s Boston’s best kept secret as far as lodging goes.

"No heat, no help"

The heat did not work. In Boston. In March. I arrived late and there is no one on the property to help, nor do they have anyone on call after hours. I spent the first night wearing all my clothes and shivering. The TV didn't work either. The next day the person on site confirmed that the central heat wasn't working and said there was no other room I could be transferred to. He left a space heater which was effective. He said he fixed the TV but that evening when I came back it still was not. The guy who answered the phone did not seem to believe me and asked me to send him pictures of the not working TV (ie a blank screen). Nothing done that evening. The next day a person on site fixed the TV. The final 2 nights of my stay were fine, (with the space heater) the room was small but comfortable and clean (although there was no trash can). I have requested a refund for the first freezing night and was told a request had been made but 5 days since I checked out I have received no confirmation and no partial refund.

Broken hinges, limited towels, and sent me the wrong front door code so i was stuck in the cold and snow for an hour before i could get in.
