Moet Cartagena Hotel Boutique - Adults Only

I loved my stay here. The staff was so caring, and personable. It was in walking distance to a good amount of things. You could also Uber to things. The hotel is small and only serve breakfast, but it was still wonderful.

MOET was an amazing experience! The management, Angela and Julian, were welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff addressed us by name the entire stay and were attentive to our every need. From recommendations if where to eat and directions to places on interest, to making sure everything was to our liking. MOET takes place in house built in the 1500's which was renovated to a tasteful and beautiful boutique hotel. Tasteful decor, music, and ambiance in every corner with a beautiful intimate rooftop to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. We found our home away from home in Cartagena.

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEIR REVIEWS ARE FAKE. The hotel is cute and the staff were initially friendly. Unfortunately things went immediately downhill after check-in. Everything in the room (lights, TV, drapes, AC, etc) is controlled by your phone, this becomes very annoying when you have to open up a web browser and go through their "smart system" to do anything. Their internet works 5% of the time and your phone needs WiFi to control anything so when you disconnect from WiFi you can't control anything in the room. Super frustrating. The bathroom window has no glass so hot air, street noice and mosquitoes flooded in all night. All power/AC shuts off as soon as the door opens. Anytime my girlfriend would leave, I would be sitting in blackness and then would have find my phone to turn on lights, TV, and AC. A real hassle and you come back to a 95 degree room with 100% humidity, takes an hour to cool down. The hotel’s front door locks from both sides and can’t be opened without a key. Anytime you want to leave, you need to find someone to let you out. This is very unsafe in the event of a fire and was very annoying when we got stuck outside for 20min without anyone to let us in. No hot water, and the staff was very rude when I wanted to stop by my room with a friend. On top of that they were banging on our wall all day doing some kind of work. I immediately booked another hotel, left, and they refuse to refund me. Do yourself a favor and stay someone, anywhere else.

From the first moment to the last wave goodbye every little detail was taken care of with a smile and with pleasure. Gorgeous hotel, small, in a nice city location away from the craziness yet close to everything. Staff went way above to make our stay outstanding. Breakfast, rooftop sunsets, refreshing pool, comfy beds Moet is a standout. ❤️

El lugar es precioso decorado como de revista. Es super amplio y las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias. El desayuno estuvo muy bueno con diferentes opciones a la carta. La ubicación del lugar excelente todo queda muy cerca, tiendas y restaurantes y el famoso mirador. Todo a muy poca distancia puedes recorrer las calles y se siente muy seguro. La atención del personal fue lo más bonito, te hacen sentir bienvenido y como si estuvieras en casa. 100% recomendado.

Precioso hotel, diseñado y decorado con mimo. Habitación amplia, con buenas instalaciones. Bonita piscina y terrazas para contemplar la puesta de sol. Estupenda localización dentro de la ciudad amurallada. Increíble servicio y atención del personal.

If you’re staying in the Walled City in Cartegena stay here! This property is amazing, with bright, clean & comfortable rooms. There’s a perfect view of the sunset from the rooftop and the outdoor terrace is great for enjoying breakfast (also amazing!!). It’s a small property so the service is personalized and their attention to detail is amazing. It’s also a superb location as you’re within the walled city but it’s not quite as rowdy and the central area can get at night.
