The studio apartment was in a great location, very well equipped & very comfortable, perfect for a single person or a couple. A great find!

No microwave provided and it was mentioned there was to be one, there is nose all night from the heating/water system inside the door, it's not too bad but when your used to silence it may bother you, it couldn't be turned off so I didn't get proper sleep for the 5 nights

Fabulous location, beautiful building with lots of space for two people, really comfortable bed, bedroom very quiet, stylish decor - a wonderful stay

One of the windows was broken and couldn’t be opened which meant we couldn’t open the shutter and couldn’t let full light in to the lounge

The location is excellent. Everything you might want to see or do in Funchal is within walking distance, and the place really lets you feel the atmosphere of the city. The apartment looks exactly like in the photos, which I truly appreciated. The studio is very well organised and comfortable. There is plenty of storage space, including two wardrobes, which makes a longer stay much easier. The kitchenette is well equipped for everyday use. There is a coffee machine with coffee provided, a toaster and all the basic kitchen utensils you need to prepare breakfast or dinner. The interior is modern, aesthetically pleasing and feels cosy. The appliances are new and functional, the bed is large and very comfortable, and overall it is a nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Communication with the host and the management company was very smooth and intuitive. All instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and the entire stay stress-free.

My studio was facing the street, so at times you could hear people walking by and cars passing, especially during the day or in the evening. This is understandable given the central location, but it might be something to consider if someone is very sensitive to noise. During the first night, I also noticed a subtle background sound in the room, something similar to a quiet electrical or ventilation hum. It wasn’t loud or intrusive, but it did catch my attention at the beginning. I got used to it quickly and it didn’t significantly affect my stay.
