Relais Villa dei Gelsi & Spa

Tutto perfetto! Servizio molto gentile e attento, strutture curate e confortevoli. La spa è piccola ma privata e molto piacevole. Il giardino è molto bello e ben tenuto. Vicino al centro di Verona, facilmente raggiungibile con il taxi incluso. Consigliatissimo!

L’unico dettaglio, la reception non è chiaramente indicata, ma abbiamo chiamato e subito sono venuti a prenderci.

A couple of miles outside Verona; walkable downhill but best reached on return by taxi - and Hotel does lay on one round-trip taxi per day in the room rate. Excellent breakfast spread with lots of fruit, and hot options. plus daily home-made cake. 2 swimming pools - both outside, and inside with a sauna and jacuzzi, but not really heated. Can be crisp! Nice room (6) with good sized shower stall, and a nice verandah. Nice staff (thanks Silvia!). Never busy, with only 9 rooms.

Be aware there is no restaurant for evening meals. They have a list, and we walked the first evening (5 minutes on a track) to a really nice local one.

A slice of heaven. Easy to get to Verona but with the distance for true relaxation. Staff were exceptional.

A beautiful peaceful boutique B&B Perfect breakfast with many home cooked options. Very friendly and helpfull staaf. Clean comfortable room. Beautiful garden and pool site An absolute treat to stay there.

Nice place

The sofa bed wasn't really a sofa bed. Also no dinner. Beautiful property and excellent staff but not great for kids.

Brekfast was very good. The location is far from the center but it a very good place o relax.

The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and the pools etc are immaculate. My room was very spacious with a super bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast is delicious with a wide choice.

Nothing

Very overpriced hotel. Our double deluxe room had a severely slanted ceiling so we could not stand up in 1/3 of the room. When I expressed my feelings about the room and the price the woman did not listen and talked over me. I said it very nicely. When my husband said it more forcefully she responded with more respect towards him. I did not appreciate her tone or her treating me as a woman differently.

The room was very cramped because of the ceiling slant. I think we were severely overcharged. It was not worth over 600 euros. I noticed it was much less expensive online and she made excuses for why it was about 300 euros online.
