Apartment - Centre of Swanage Stunning Sea views

The apartment is in a superb location with a lovely view over Swanage beach. Very easy access to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable. Lots of small touches that made it special eg well stocked Kitchen utensils/crockery, soft furnishings, nice decor.

No parking in front of the apartment. You have to unload in a parking bay then move the car to carparks a few minutes walk away. The cleaning fee is very high on top of the rental. Not sure why so high.

No extractor fan in bathroom and toilet, roller blinds not fitted to walls correctly, fell off. Coat hanger in hall fell off wall

Close to the beach

I had questions I wanted to ask the owner prior to our stay but couldn’t get hold of them. They didn’t respond to my emails or phone calls. I contacted Booking.com and they couldn’t get hold of them either. They did keep sending me the same general information about the property but this was of no help whatsoever. It wasn’t immediately clear on the advert that a deposit would be required- it was hidden in the small print so beware.The deposit requested exceeded the cost of our 3 night stay and wasn’t returned immediately. Black mould in the bathroom.

We had the best of both worlds, having a view of Swanage Bay from a third floor apartment (with lift) and being located in the town centre. We stayed 3 nights, for the Swanage Blues Festival and all the venues were within 5 minutes walk. The apartment had everything we needed, with a table and two chairs which we moved to the window so that we could enjoy the beautiful view whilst eating our breakfast and a couple of evening meals. We had fish and chips at Gee Whites one lunchtime, which has outdoor seating by the sea, and roast dinner at The Red Lion on Sunday. Apart from that we cooked our own meals in the apartment. There was a dishwasher (which is not mentioned in the facilities) a microwave and an electric cooker with electric hob. No coffee maker was provided but there was a kettle and toaster. On our final day we walked along the beach and up the steps to join the coastal footpath to Old Harry Rocks. The views are stunning.

The wide double bed, whilst comfortable, was two single beds zipped together so no sleeping in the middle!

The sea view was stunning and the apartment had everything you would ever need for a couples getaway. It is a bright apartment with great facilities.

The shower head didn’t grip properly to the pole but it didn’t hinder the stay in any way.

Stunning modern apartment, but the absolute amazing thing that made our holiday was the view out over Swanage Bay.

Nothing it was perfect for us

Really nice apartment with sea view and close enough to hear the waves in the morning. Everything was clean and tidy. It was quiet in October - even on a Saturday night. It was easy enough to load and unload nearby despite no allocated parking. 3rd floor but with a lift Comfy bed Plenty of cooking basics in the cupboard.

The apartment is let through agents. The ‘welcome’ email is a long list of rules and fines! The agents asked for the security deposit a week before we arrived and kept it for a week after - a 2 week £300 interest free loan for a 2 night stay. It’s in the roof gables - and was warm when we arrived. We’d avoid it in a hot summer. The loose shower head that others have mentioned is still not fixed! No info in the apartment - but found the switch for the bathroom heater outside in the cupboard if you need it!
