Ora Retreat

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und der Blick von der Terrasse wunderschön

Die Ansprechpartner vor Ort sind nur selten da. Bei der Beschreibung „ geteiltes Badezimmer“ hätten wir nicht damit gerechnet, dass man es mit zwölf Leuten teilt. Bezüglich der Sauberkeit haben wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, und man musste über eine schmale Leiter zum Bett aufsteigen, welches dann nur noch wenige Zentimeter bis zur Decke Platz hatte

Guests are invited to make their own breakfast from a wide selection available in the kitchen. Anything from the fridge, bread/toast, eggs, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Kaari, the host, made us feel so welcome in her home, which is a beautiful property, up on the hill in Sunshine Bay, overlooking Cecil Peak on Lake Wakatipu. We would love to have stayed there for a week!

An absolute favorite of our New Zealand trip, Queenstown's hidden gem. We enjoyed everything - from the wooden cabin surrounded by trees, the terrace with a mountain view, the cozy kitchen (the only place that had an airfryer in the equipment!), as well as the overall atmosphere of the place. Respect for the ability to create it all.

Sometimes it can take longer to find parking, especially if you don't have a small car.

Breakfast okay. Room good. Great views and chill atmosphere.

Onstreet parking can get busy, a long way out of town if not driving.

The views were to die for and the bungalow cabin was nice and Cosy

Not having enough PowerPoints in the room The room needs there own fridge and coffee and tea and jug for the price you pay for the room The kitchen facilities was fine until we saw a mouse running around the food and toaster cereal area

Relaxed- away from the busy town. Large room and en suite. Lovely birds in garden. Wonderful views. Great hosts

Parking on street difficult at times. Sound travelled between rooms easily in main house. There are separate small lodges too

Ora Retreat is one of the loveliest places I have stayed in in all my travels, and the owner makes you feel at home from the minute you step inside. Thank you!!!
