The Porch on Frances Inn

Our stay was wonderful. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and we could walk to wherever we needed to go. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and located in a good area

Our stay at The Porch on Frances was overall pleasant, but there were a couple of issues that impacted our experience. The water pressure was quite weak, and it took a long time for the water to get warm. The biggest disappointment, however, was the premature room clearing. Despite our checkout time being 10 a.m., at 9 a.m. we returned to find our remaining belongings gone and the cleaning lady already removing the bedding. When asked, she explained that the next guests had arrived and she needed to prepare the room. We then had to wait for our items to be retrieved from storage. Early arrivals shouldn’t come at the expense of guests still within their checkout window. This lack of consideration left us feeling rushed and disrespected, and unfortunately, it overshadowed what could have been an otherwise positive stay.

Our room was utterly charming. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like prettily folded towels, soft music playing on the tv and ample fridge space for snacks and drinks.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cute Inn. Louise made check in and check out a breeze and even provided some great spots to check out. I was in a solo trip and felt safe the entire time and was able to walk to all the fun

Great place to stay in Key West. Would definitely book again.

It’s bit of a walk to Duval and restaurants and there was no pool. But very quiet and clean. Nice bathroom too.

Very pretty room and location, very stylish. Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Outdoor space is partially shared but private. Dehumidifier present, very nice with the climate, although alarms from this during the night were less enjoyable (no instructions for this were seen). WiFi was very good!

Staff did not respond to a single message, we were unable to confirm our check-in time as apparently this should be inside a timeframe. Outside this timeframe approval should be received, but the process was unclear and the absence of any response to multiple messages almost caused us to not go and gave some stress. On arrival there was a letter with a code for the room. There was a text to tip the cleaning lady, this was stated a a reminder not an thoughtful gesture. Tip for cleaning should be included in the price, which was not cheap to start with, pay your personnel a decent liveable wage.

The Porch was an absolute amazing stay! We loved our stay and hope to be back again! The staff contacted us frequently and helped us set up tours. We could not have asked for a better experience!
