Vang Vieng Garden Resort

new hotel, large room and bathroom. location is on outskirts - so no one disturbed us. 15 mins walk and u reach city center. price is very reasonable - we paid 13$ per night w included brekkies.

The bad was not comfortable: mattress was very hard (we got used to medium hard type) and it was creaky! that surprised a lot coz I dont understand how it's possible to put such bed in the new hotel.

Very nice place, brand new. The room is clean, comfortable bed with clean white linens, wardrobe, mirror, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail. The view of the beautiful mountains from the window is incredibly beautiful! Bathroom is clean. Hot and cold water. Toothpaste, toothbrush, razer, soup, shampoo was provided. Breakfast is good: a choice of eggs, rice or rice porridge, fruits, coffee, tea, milk, bread with butter and jam or pancakes. Breakfast changes slightly every day. The staff is very polite, attentive and accommodating. .

Had an excellent stay here, was supposed to stay for only one night but booked an extra night before my return trip to Luang Prabang. New hotel, with spacious rooms and excellent view from the large balcony. Manager Spring is always on-site to help you with everything and scooter rental is possible from the hotel itself. The extremely playful puppy dog was a nice bonus! :)

I loved meeting Spring who ran the front desk. She made my experience amazing. Anything I needed, she was able to help me. Morning markets are about 500 meters away and the strip is 15 mins walk. She grabbed me bike rentals and transportation to the train station.

Its out of their control but there were a few celebrations that were loud at night. Because of the open field, the noise carried over to our hotel. The hotel itself is very quiet and relaxing.

New hotel with nice rooms, good view, nice shower. Air conditioning and fridge in the room. Breakfast was good and you could order pancakes, omlet, scrambled egg to accompany items from the buffet,but do note it's served at the sister hotel across the road. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value.

Balcony is nice and with good view but shared with other rooms. The room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. As the area is still under development its a bit of a building site but it didn't disturb us. The place has a great potential. For now though be prepared to have breakfast, pool and all other facilities at the sister hotel across the road.

Great room. New and clean with good price. The staff speak excellent English and helped us to arrange day trip visiting Vang Vieng as well as taxi to the airport. Everything is great and we were happy that we chose this place to be our base in Vang Vieng.

The hotel is situated just outside the main town, but within walking distance. The manager was extremely helpful. Staff friendly and go out of their way to make the stay pleasant.

Breakfast was substandard. Bread was never fresh.
