Venice Cityview Guesthouse

Close proximity to buses and train for Venice and couple minutes to Lidl or Mega shops. Very clean. Price is very good.

Oven wasn’t working and mosquito net on window would be an advantage.

Close to the bus stop in Venice Island.

Nice for one night but a very cold Room. Cant switch on the heating.

On our trip we stayed in 3 different hotels and out of the 3 this was the least amusing. Everywhere felt dirty. There was a kitchen which was nice but very basically supplied no bowles to have cereal in. And shower door was broken and poorly replaced so water went everywhere. But to compensate all of this the host is a very nice guy. Definitely not a profetinal stay as we had to wait to get the keys untill the gentlemen cycled up to us but we a cheap stay so couldn't expect too much. But agen lovely helpful gentleman

The location was really nice, next to supermarket Lidl and train station Mestre. Towels and bed sheets were washed from a laundry place - the only comfort we had. Hot water. New windows.

We didn't know that we had to call someone or write to enter the guesthouse - imagine your phone has no batteries? It was semi clean - just the necessary things have been cleaned. Windows were really dirty, table was dusty, shower had a lot of lime, cobwebs on the ceiling. Matrace was old and saggy, bed back seemed broken off and made a lot of noise. Stove and Oven in the kitchen was broken, not even a good way of having breakfast together, bec only one normal chair and one high chair, small table with little access to it. We got the other kitchen offered on the first floor, only after complaining about it. Kitchen appliances were very view. Only one pot, but u couldn't use it, because the inside was peeling off - who would like to eat that with their food? There are 3 rooms for each floor, but e.g. only two normal cups - how in the world is that going to work, when we all (6 peoole) want to prepare some breakfast or have a tea? Got a cup from downstairs, which was leaking 🙈 There is no love behind this at all. Way too expensive for what u get.

Calm location close to Train and bus stations. Close was the unique pizzeria Pizzalonga with super tasty pizzas take away.

To het on the other side of Train station there is subway which is closed during the night. Very difficult to get to the early bus to the airport.

It wasn’t bad except for heat of the room. The most important thing was heat for me because I didn’t want to be sick while i was traveling. That is why i gave 5. I didn’t recommend it because of the heat. It was really cold and it makes people sick if you stay longer than one day.

Price and proximity to Venise and basic stores.

Missing sheets, some parts of the establishment (including the bathroom and the kitchen) were not clean, the towel warmer even had some rust on it. The rooms had a musty smell and are poorly equipped and that's without mentioning the decoration. Good for the price but definitely should level up their game because it could be much more welcoming.
