We absolutely loved the food! The chef is incredible and we had 3 x melas a day at the restaurant there. Each outdoing each other. I also loved the beach. I was worried about strong surf. But the little bay was perfection. I am a strong swimmer and feel comfortable in the surf, but this was super fun, playful and OMG Warm! We had the pool one bedroom with the pool on the beach. What a dream. An absolutely wonderful way to finish our honeymoon. Noting that we planned to and did stay here in the whole time, not leaving (why would you) so 2 x nights was pretty great here.

Fantastic place to stay. Nice room, spacious bathroom, crisp clean sheets, amazing view, food was delicious. There was some construction work going on near our villa and Mr. Abishik, the property manager showed great understanding and offered compensation for the inconvenience we experienced.

We loved our very short stay at Ahu Bay, it was the perfect end to our honey moon. The staff were great, the location and amenities were fantastic, the day spa massage was fantastic and the cooking class was a nice touch. Overall very happy with our stay and the food was amazing!

The pool area is very nice with the view of the sea. Amazing sunsets! Very good wifi throughout the hotel area. The bed was super comfortable. The room felt new/modern and we really liked the outdoor shower. Most food was good and high standard and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and try their best - always with a smile.

The beach was a big disappointment for us as a large hotel is being built next to it. Lots of noise and the view is not very nice. Construction workers staring when you walk in your bikini. As I mentioned, the staff is very nice/friendly, but they obviously lacks some routine and english skills. Almost every order we made something was wrong, missed or mixed up. It got a little annoying after a while. I'm guessing the kitchen was understaffed as it took 30-45 minutes to get the food during "rush hour". The cleaning/cleanliness of the hotel could be better. The sunbeds/cabanas are very dirty (looks more brown then white). Our sheets and bathrobes in the room were dirty - we reported this and it was fixed straight away. Worth knowing the hotel is very very small and only has one restaurant where you eat all meals. We stayed 5 nights, which was a bit on the high side. 3-4 would have been enough. We had a massage which was good. BUT I lay with my peach and melons completely exposed for long periods (not so classy in my opinion). I have never experienced this before (it is always covered) - it did not feel comfortable and not something I expected in a 5 star hotel.
