amazing location in the jungle! highlight for us was to swim in the river!

we did not know that we had to have a 4 by 4 vehicle to get there but they came very fast when we needed help and they were very accommodating

"Overpriced, underwhelming, disappointing and could not wait to leave"

2.0

The running waterfall that the property was around was pleasant. The nature around the property was nice.

Where to begin. The drive to the hotel is horrible. You have to 4WD for 30-40 minutes off road and get bumped around. Once or twice is ok, but going back and forward each day is extremely tiring. The lobby of the hotel is reallynot that welcoming. There is an old christmas tree (in April), the TV that is turned on loudly in the lobby is playing movies loudly, which isn't nice when you're trying to have dinner. Breakfast and Dinner was very average, it looks like a great menu but the food is not great, but you have no other options being so far out. THE HOT TUB was suppose to be the nice relaxing draw card of this hotel. It was cold, without jets, ridiculously bright lights. So unless you want an unpleasant bath outside with a lot of light, it really isn't that great. The shower is cold, now I know being out in nature that this is likely, but for the price of the hotel, you would expect the option of maybe a slightly warm shower with solar panels or something. Nope, just one tap with one option, freezing. We opted for a walking tour from the hotel. Worst walking tour i've ever done. Guide would not shut up the entire way, and was talking about politics and random other things. Only one of us speaks spanish and he didn't even make an attempt to guide non-spanish speakers. He was unfit so we had to take multiple stops on the way up, not sure if that was just so he could continue talking, the stops were not scenic, the lunch was horrible ham sandwiches that were crushed from the walk. The place that we stopped for lunch was some random kitchen with no view and nothing else but a wooden bench. And still the guide wouldn't let us talk in peace, he just kept talking. The only time he didn't talk was when he ran down the hill on the way back and we got lost behind him. We had to call out multiple times to find him and this was suppose to be a private guided tour. The Cost was enormous for a normal tour, let alone this disaster.

Beautiful cabins - only if you are looking for nature.

the food needs to improve, the location was 15 min from the main road and you need to be picked up my the hotel. the upsell when you arrive to a jacuzzi room. average customer service
