"Fabulous midweek treat"

Stayed for just one night and ate at Smoke. Beautiful setting, lovely hotel and fabulous meal. We couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay

The mix of traditional-style furniture with new technology. The games room and vinyl player were amazing. Food was fantastic and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful.

"If you’re looking for a spa, don’t book here"

If you’re expecting a Spa, don’t bother , there isn’t one. There is a pamper room somewhere on the estate (apparently) but with no staff on site or facilities what so ever. We booked a suite , the mini bar was empty there were broken electronics in the room and card key broke several times over the 2 days. As well as this, there were stains on the carpet and the decor was in desperate need of updating. To top it off the night porter let us out for a cigarette and then locked up the building g which meant we were stuck outside in the icy weather from 11:45 pm to 1:45 in the morning and the hotel phone was set to voicemail! Other than that the other staff were lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable!

I've stayed at some amazing places, and experienced some out of this world cuisine, but this place is at another level, 15 course meal. Truly an outstanding overall experience.

Unbelievable stay. Me and my wife went for a staycation and it didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing, the ambience was good. Nice and relaxing. Smoke - restaurant unbelievable and the service was very good. Only bug bear was you could hear airplanes due to the close proximity to the airport. But didn’t stop us from having a great time.
