Cosy Oasis in the Heart of Clifton Village

Great location and clean.

Freezing cold as no central heating and no offer to bring in a plug in heater. We had to leave after a couple of hours to warm up and sleeping there was very unpleasant it was so so cold. I gather this has been an ongoing problem from reading reviews on here and on Airbnb. Even when the boiler has been on I gather the property is still cold in winter months as there are two external walls.

It was convenient for local amenities.

Parking was dreadful, we had to move the car 4 times

Je ne le recommanderait toutefois pas à quelqu'un qui aurait des difficulté de mobilité, car l'escalier demande un bon équilibre pour ne pas tomber.

Very nice apartment, wonderful bed, well arranged over two floors. Lots of great amenities nearby.

The first floor bedroom is accessed by a tight spiral stair that was a difficult to go up and down for older folk. The basin in the bathroom is set usually low so that you have to bend very far down (or kneel on the floor) to use. You have to pay an additonal £100 damage deposit before keys are made available and this is not returned until a week after your stay. There were a number of minor breakages at the property (blind cords broken, wonky tap in the kitchen sink), which we only discovered mid way through our stay - and while the full deposit was returned to us - it was a little stressful to think that the we might have been accused of causing these damages and of therefore loosing the deposit. Finally, if youre not familiar with Bristol, the aprtment is located in Clifton, a good 1/2hr walk from the centre, and there are no direct buses to the centre.

Very convenient location and very comfortable, also right next to Burra for breakfast!

Would have liked some milk in fridge on arrival! Not a problem for us but the spiral staircase wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues.

Location great and facilities perfect

This was the perfect spot for me to be whilst studying at Engineer's House. The facilities of desk, kitchen, comfy sofa, and the upstairs bedroom were perfect for what I needed. I also like that it was above a barber's shop as it felt safe and like there were people around if needed but independent at the same time. Brilliant coffee shop opposite too! I Loved it and have recommended to colleagues who frequently stay for the same course. Very clean, and well-kept. Thanks!

Nothing! There were a few bars along the street that were very popular but the noise from them felt calming whilst they were open and they closed by nightfall! Highly recommended.
