Host & Stay - Percy Cottage

Booked the cottage for a family wedding and it was perfect,location was great. The cottage was beautiffuly decorated and had everything we needed. Own parking spot at the back.

Only one little niggle,big waggons started passing really early so take ear plugs

Very well designed and laid out.

There were a lot of cobwebs in the corners of most rooms and dust around some ornaments, the kitchen bin was far too small and the cooker needed a deep clean as it started to smoke when we turned it on.

On request for early check in I was sent an email with charges which would have been well above the hourly rate of the whole property rental. not in the spirit of cottage rental and un personal. while I appreciate this is operating as a business there is no reason for these charges as there was no apparent urgent turnover required bathroom had a very strong chemical smell, and steep stairs has slippery surface which was dangerous.

Well equipped and beautifully decorated. Some small maintenance issues reported and a very prompt response from the team.

The boiler was sometimes noisy, the shower door was missing the seal so water went everywhere. A face towel in addition to the body towel would have been appreciated

Beautiful Location and Immaculate Cottage! Everything spot on. Just a 5 min walk from the Wedding Venue. Local Spar shop with everything you need (or forgot!). Hosts are easily contactable via email, text or phone. Highly recommend this Cottage. Definately stay again!
