Sierra Woods Lodge

This is a rustic place. But it was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out in back by a fire pit (no fire that day) and watching the sunset. The hotel and attached restaurant are very convenient to the highway. It's part of a teen rehab program, and a service was being held in the restaurant during our breakfast. Everyone we interacted with (servers, front desk) were courteous and friendly.

Room was just what we needed, check in was quick and simple, everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful, food at the rustic table was pretty good. The only thing was the no air conditioning, it was warm even at night and didn’t really cool off until about midnight or 1am. Will definitely be back but when it’s cooler 😜

I liked everything, the place is very cool. But the impression was spoiled by the strong smell of air fresheners in the room, but it quickly aired out

Hot shower reds, excellent restaurant

Location is nice. Everything around there is expensive so $165 was “cheap”

The room was filthy. The walls had stuff on them, bed post clearly have not been cleaned in years, shower did not look clean, edges, ledges, and baseboards have years of dirt. Carpet had black marks all over it and was really dirty. They spray so type of cheap freshener to try and make you think it is clean. The beds are so high they could be dangerous for some.

Unfortunately it was a hot day and no air conditioning in our room . Ceiling fan and portable fan provided. Having the windows open made it a little noisy as our room in front where people park
